    Middleweight fighter and fashion designer Matt Major has signed a deal with Bellator Fighting Championships and will compete in the organization's season-two eight-man middleweight tournament. The promotion today announced the signing. Major (6-1) is currently riding a three-fight win streak, which included decision victories over UFC veteran Shonie Carter and former EliteXC fighter Jamie Fletcher.

    The Nevada State Athletic Commission issued medical suspensions to half of the competitors from this past weekend's "UFC 109: Relentless" event, and four of them were actually winning fighters. The NSAC today distributed the list of medical suspensions to MMAjunkie.com. UFC 109 took place Feb. 6 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and aired on Spike TV (two preliminary-card fights) and then pay-per-view (main card).

TV, KWHY Telemundo, followed the Skeleton Crew back to the Punchbowls where we showed them what Extreme Cliff Jumping was all about. The day was perfect for filming but the cold September air dissuaded most of the S.C.K. from going on this mission but they used some footage shot by the webmaster himself.

The kids are still awake ARGH and I'm tired after an early start this morning when I decided to hit the beach for a run. What I thought would be an easy jog on the hard sand was not! The hard sand was soft & squelchy thanks to the high tide, so it was an extra demanding jog. I did intervals of jogging & walking. Watching the sunrise over the sea was amazingly beautiful & calming. I've still been training, I got to the gym 4 times in the week to cover all body parts, however, I've just been flat chat looking after the kids, doing chores & dedicating some time to reviewing an e-book. It was great for a change, the first time in a long time my brain was kicked into gear again. Since reading the book, I've also been utilising a lot of the techniques and have found them a great addition to my training and every day life. I'd seriously recommend you all check it out.

    The standard in my gym is to be able to do 100 consecutive reps. Then you are allowed to move up in weight. Start off easy if you have never done neck work before. I suggest 5# followed by 10-25-35-45 and so on. Do 3 sets for as many reps as you can. The weights above are the progrssions I have my students start with. Thanks, Machine

    Back in the early 90’s who would have thought that a young man from New Jersey would go on to become one of the elite athletes in Freestyle Motocross. The Mays Landing, NJ native took to motocross racing and at one time was one of the top riders in the Northeast winning at all of the popular local tracks like Raceway Park and Sleepy Hollow.
